Your contributions have helped immeasurably. We have raised far more outside the Indiegogo campaign through the awareness that Indiegogo has brought.

As it stands we have raised a $400,000 fund and would like to increase that by a third before we start shooting to guarantee the production does not have to cut corners. 20 semi-finalists for the lead role of Nellie Bly will be published today and the final choice and top ten on October 15th! We have just completed interviews in a few major publications due to awareness of the media because of the Indiegogo campaign. We have a basic budget in place and this Indiegogo campaign is helping us to increase production values. We don’t need to reach our goal to make our movie, but every dollar you contribute will be used to make a more realistic and better telling of Nellie Bly's true life experience, 10 DAYS IN A MADHOUSE, based on her articles in Joseph Pulitzer's The World Newspaper about how she faked insanity to expose corruption and abuse in a notorious asylum! The Nellie Bly Star Search Deadline has passed. The response has been amazing.Top actresses from iconic movies, network TV shows, national commercials, and Broadway theater are amongst the strong talent that turned in video auditions. The sheer volume was so great that it will take at least another day to post them all.
